A recent study indicates that empathy in America has dropped by 40 percent during the past thirty years. It’s not hard to find daily stories about road rage and shootings. And have you seen these new retail store locations whose sole purpose is to provide customers a place to take out their anger and frustration?
It’s time to change course America. This isn’t about what politicians say or do. It’s about what we say and do. And we need to do something now before it’s too late.
One thing I recommend is to dedicate yourself to helping others. It’s easy to do, and you’ll find that it is not only rewarding, but it is uplifting and reduces stress and anxiety and anger. It’s hard to be angry when you’re making a difference in someone else’s life.
